Tanel: MR2 "scarface" GTS

Hello.
Came to NPS forum to sell my wheels, lurked around and noticed some Estonian rides here.
So i thought i'll post mine as well.

It's an JDM 92' MR2 GTS coupe. With 3sgte engine, lsd and some other goodies.
Bought it for my 20th birthday in January 2014.

Got it like that


Front bumper was in 3 pieces, both light covers and 1 fender were f'ked up, lots of dents all over the car.
I really don't like to do things half-ass but fixed it all temporary to get it on streets and focused mostly on maintaince.

Now it's time for wheels.
I got these 17x8 5x120 fittipaldis laying around and 15/20mm 5x114,3 to 5x120 adapters also from my last mr2, so..

lowered the front end and, as soon as i got out of the garages, it started snowing again.

Now its time for engine rebuild, headwork, lower compression, bigger turbo, custom manifolds, some standalone ecu, etc..
Besides the "go fast" mod's my winter plans are: coilovers, powerflex bushes, wider lip's for rears, maybe paint the wheels, some interior mod's, sound improvement, etc.. Maybe even some bodywork,

Wheels 17x8 and offset is 32 on all 4
Current set up with spacers/adapters:
Front offset 17, tyres 205/40
Rear offset 4, tyres 215/40
Camber is maxed out on all corners with toyota's crash bolt's

My first car,E30 coupe, bought it for my 17th birthday and drove it every day since (until i crashed it).
Learned alot about driving and working on cars.
I could make a 2 page thread about it, but i try to make short.  
It had some many diffferent looks i cant evan count, but here are few f them.

by the end it had coilovers, 5x120 pattern, borbet A's, straight pipe, welded diff and some other 18yo dream mod's.

After that e30 i've had about 30 cars (no kiddin'), here's the one's i liked most.

Mr2 n/a targa i had last summer. Corvette saladshooters 16x8,5/9,5 with 195/45 rubber

This is how project topics should be started. (y) MR2 is starting to look really good. Some wider lips for those fittipaldis gonna make a huge difference. Any thoughts which size lips you're going for? Waiting to see how your things get together with this MR2.

I would like atleast 10 inch wide rears but
unfortunately due to adapters and offset being 32, i cant go wide enough and i dont like pulled fenders.
My calculations show that i can fit 2,75inch lips max, that make wheels 9,75.
even then i'm gonna poke 7mm more than shooters did.
Current mr2 is alot lower and has few degrees more camber, so they would fit alot better.

I just have to put 15mm adapters to rear, besides 20+8mm i run at the moment, and then we'll see how wide i can really go.

I've even thinked about selling those fitti's and buying some other 5x114,3 3pieces to get rid of the adapters. Maybe someone here would like to trade?

Have you been thinking about drilling another PCD next to the old one? Thats one way to get rid of the adapters

Back side of fittipaldis is'nt level, i could fill the holes by welding and make new ones but that much welding is'nt good for the wheels. And i dont really want to fuck up the originality.

My last chance is to make rear hubs from stud's to bolts and also extra 5x120pcd drill next to them
If the diameter is big enough to fit 5x120.
